Synopsis

From its manufacturing process to its first intrusion into our lives and through  its gradual invasion into our daily lives, The Story of Plastic traces with exceptional thoroughness and great originality the history of this material considered at one time as a revolution but the use and recycling of which are now one of the major environmental issues. A challenge in which everyone will have to work, whether they are an industrial player, distributor, legislator or consumer. The scale of the challenge is global, but is it really up to this geographic scale? Nothing is less certain, as this exceptional documentary so vividly reveals to us.
