Synopsis

Larry Towell’s business card reads: “Human Being.” For the past 40 years, the celebrated Magnum photographer—one of the greatest war photographers in the world—has chronicled humankind’s deepest struggles.

In this intimate diary, he blends photos, videos, songs, and poetry. He reflects on his profession, his doubts, the need for images, the absurdity of borders, and the danger of “getting used to war.”
