Synopsis

Mumbai wants to become a “world-class” city while more than half of its population lives in slums and in inhumane conditions. So begins a battle for land between the authorities and the poor in Mumbai. Zindabad! is the story of this battle. But is also more than this: it represents the engagement of filmmakers with their subject and their support for this exploited population.
