Synopsis
The Tibetan Girl reveals through Drolma’s life, her religious devotion, her joy, sadness and purity, the conflictual nature of the Tibetans’ beliefs and traditions opposed to modern and urban civilization. With the film, the director paints a portrait of modern China by showing the several realities that coexist. Huaqing Jin keeps on reviewing China’s ambiguous relations with its past and history.
