It is an emotive documentary about cetaceans, showcasing possibly the greatest biodiversity ever captured on film and highlighting new scientific discoveries. The film includes chapters on emotions, language, social organization, intelligence, and human interaction.

Philip Hamilton, a filmmaker, photographer, producer, and author, is the founder and director of Ocean Souls Films Ltd, a UK-based production company focused on producing conservation documentaries. His work has been featured on television and in books. His conservation projects have also been presented on BBC Earth and at the United Nations, and they have generated millions of views on social media.
