Jeannine went to the very first mixed school in Liège. The boys stayed on one side of the classroom, the girls on the other. During manual lessons, while the girls learned to sew, the boys played football in the playground.

Director's Biography
Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tournai, Pascale Hecquet is the author of some fifteen short animated films that have toured cinemas and festivals. The director pays particular attention to films for young audiences, with a desire both to make people laugh and to take a whimsical approach to subjects that are important to children, such as helping each other, sharing, friendship and even gluttony… She has recently tried her hand at making animated documentaries, which allow viewers to immerse themselves in authentic pieces of life and to hear the voice of another person.
