Synopsis

The story of Liisa, a woman who died alone with no one left to miss her, unfolds as a detective story, piece by piece. When filmmaker Elina Talvensaari moves into a new apartment in Helsinki, it still contains all the previous occupant’s furniture and personal belongings. She doesn’t want to eradicate the woman by throwing her things away. So she starts to investigate her predecessor through the diaries, letters and 8mm films she finds in the apartment. How does this unknown woman slowly, gradually become a precious friend?
