Synopsis

In Turkey, more than one in three women is a victim of domestic violence and the number of femicides continues to grow. Filmed over a period of five years, Dying to Divorce follows the poignant struggle of a Turkish lawyer, Ipek Bozkurt, in the face of scandalously lenient justice towards violent men.
