Synopsis

“I go back fifty years to the lost paradise where I experienced absolute happiness for five years.” Old photos, talks and drawings take my French grandmother and my father back to the 1970s Laos. With fragments of memories, I try to understand who my grandfather Singkéo was, questioning the notions of roots, attachment, and family breakdown.
