Synopsis
At 59, Rue des Bayards, a social housing building is home to a whole lot of stories. Like a guided tour through daily life, the film reveals snippets of lives and the links that the residents forge with each other. Built on the principles of sisterhood and care, this place welcomes us and lets us see beyond its walls.
Director's Biography
Margot (21) grew up in the Liège countryside before starting her film studies in Brussels. She began by scripting a short fiction film for a 2nd year exercise. Selected by the jury, it was directed by Assala Saïdi and she was responsible for the cinematography. “59, Rue des Bayards”, co-written with Tiziano Lo Presti, is her graduation film. At the same time, she has worked on various projects, including music videos, commercials, short films and feature films, as media producer.
