We are honored to invite you to the opening night of the Millenium Festival on March 28, 2025, at 7:30 PM at Flagey. A unique evening, hosted by our charismatic master of ceremonies, Diane Marois, who will guide this unforgettable event. The evening will begin with an exclusive message from Ken Loach, followed by a powerful speech by Charlie Chaplin from The Great Dictator.
It will continue with the screening of the inspiring documentary A Song for My Land by Mauricio Albornoz Iniesta, a film that invites us to reflect on our collective future in the face of ecological challenges. Through this story, we will be called to envision a better future for our planet and the actions we must take to achieve it. The film defends our fundamental rights and highlights the importance of civic action and solidarity in addressing global ecological challenges. A true call for collective engagement to preserve our world and its inhabitants.
The director, Mauricio Albornoz Iniesta, will be present to share his experience and message of hope. This will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, a key moment to remind us of their role in promoting peace and sustainable development.
The evening will continue with a convivial cocktail, offering the chance to discuss and exchange ideas with the speakers and other guests. Don’t miss this exceptional evening marking the start of an unmissable event.
