Synopsis
A donkey, cats, dogs, a stack of junk, a caravan where incredible rubbish piles up: Hula and Nathan live in this unbelievable environment. The two brothers own a ramshackle garage, about to be closed, in Sderot next to the Gaza strip. Award holder in many places and in particular at “Vision du Réel”, this end-of-studies documentary combines with an astonishing narrative soundness tragedy and comedy by superposing the chaotic life of these two brothers over the drama of the conflict around them. The film is a funny and emotional family portrait and a relevant reflection on the absurdity of war.
