Synopsis
Hiding in the propeller of a ship without knowing where it was heading, David, a young Guinean rapper, arrives in Rosario in Argentina. Inspired by dreams of travel and Eldorado, he left his friends and family back in Africa. Known as “Black Doh”, he sings songs about life in Guinea, his desire to get away from Africa and his still marginalized position in Rosario. Years after he left his hometown, David’s first album reaches Africa. The film takes us back and forth between South America and Africa reflecting routes and roots as well as clashes and encounters of cultures.
