Synopsis
In Brussels, like in Kigali, survivors from the 1994 Tutsi genocide often come across people suspected of being involved in the slaughter. In Belgium, this cohabitation emerges through Ephrem Nkezabera’s trial, ruler of the extremist militia Hutu Interahamwe, one of the most violent groups that have taken part to the genocide. The Brussels Court of Assize judged him in absentia in November 2009 and the debates could exceptionally be filmed by Marie-France Collard.
