Synopsis
On a hot summer day in 1943, 14-year-old Pnina disappeared from her Jewish home in Galilee. 24 years later she sent a letter to her family, revealing that she lived in the Askar al Jadid refugee camp near Nablus, married to a Muslim and mother of eight. However,her pleas for help fell on deaf ears. Was she kidnapped or did sherun away ? The filmmaker Noa Ben Hagai, granddaughter to Pnina’ssister, discovered Pnina’s letters after her grandmother died.
