Synopsis
Nadia was a little girl when a bomb dropped on her home in Afghanistan and disfigured a large part of her body and face. After she left the hospital, her country was taken over by the Taliban, who laid a lot of new laws unfavourable to women. There were no able-bodied men in her family who could work to maintain them, so she decided to dress as a boy and adopt a male name so she could work. She lived her dualidentity for eleven years. In 2007, when the situation becomes impossible, she escapes to Europe. This documentary follows her back home a few years later.
